Ruben hails from a very poor family from Almajipur Village, Medak District. He is studying STD IX in Sri Sai Model High School, Cherlapally. His father Rajaiah is a drain cleaner in their village and his mother Lakshmi is mentally unstable and needs 24x7 care.
When it was getting extremely difficult for his father to support him for his education and food he contacted Sphoorti Foundation. He is good at studies.
